Argentina and Britain Gain Berths Into New Davis Cup Finals
LONDON — Argentina and Britain, ongoing victors of the Davis Cup, were given special cases on Wednesday to contend in one year from now's finals of the redid rivalry.
Argentina, 2016 victors, and Britain, who won the earlier year, have been chosen to join the four semifinalists from the current year's version — France, Croatia, Spain and United States — in the 18-group Davis Cup occasion in November 2019.
Those countries will be participated in the new weeklong competition by 12 others, who will anchor their places through qualifiers in February.
